Some days ago, I read “The
Irish Cottage Murder” by Dicey Deere.
This is the first novel of a series of detective novels around Torrey
Tunet. Torrey Tunet is a young woman who works as an interpretor and,
since this first novel, as a hobby detective.
In her first “case”, Torrey happens to be the prime suspect
in a murder case. With the help of a newly found friend, Torrey disantagles
tragic family affairs around the victim and finally solves the murder.
In my opinion, Deere succeeds in combining an interesting plot with
interesting people. The outcome is a highly recommendable detective
novel.

Erwachsene mit guten Englischkenntnissen geeignet, da das Vokabular
und auch der Satzbau leicht verständlich sind.
